Duty Payment Services

The importer of record is responsible for paying the  customs duty when their goods are imported in the U.S. E.M.D. can help you to pay duty to U.S. Customs through our customs ACH, which is a part of our services in cleaning your goods, so that you can accurately estimate your costs.

Importer Security Filings (10+2)

This rule applies on import cargo arriving in the United States through vessels. You must have a bond in place and transmit the ISF no less than 24 hours before the cargo is loaded on the vessel. EMD customs broker can help you get an ISF bond and transmit the ISF on time to avoid a customs penalty.

 Customs Bond

Customs bonds are required by U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) for every shipment imported in the U.S. You have the option of obtaining a "single bond" or a "continuous bond". The type of bond you select to obtain ultimately depends on how often you import into the United States. E.M.D. can help you obtain a customs bond through a surety, licensed by the U.S. Department of Treasury.
